This is because the issue of pallet width is the biggest issue. Currently, most of the most common mechanical parking lots in Japan have tires with an outer width of 1,850 to 1,900 mm or less, and many cars cannot fit within this range. Even if the vehicle width is within the limit, it will not be possible to park if the pallet width is too small. Furthermore, if it is too tight, you may damage the tires and wheels. 2. Price is higher than the previous generation Prado
The Land Cruiser 250 is a model located in the middle of the Land Cruiser series. 3. Round headlights are basically only available on the First Edition.
In fact, only the square type is listed in the official catalog of the Rankle 250 in Japan. The reason is that the normal model is basically a square type. Those who want to choose the round eye type from the beginning have no choice but to choose the first edition. Alternatively, you will need to choose the regular model VX and have the dealer select the “headlamp” (round) 187,000 yen (tax included) option that will be released in June. Please note that this caution is only set for VX grade, so please be careful if you are purchasing the regular model.
4. Engine lineup is disappointing
In fact, the Land Cruiser 250 uses the same engine as the Prado, and although there are some differences such as the transmission, the basics are the same. As a result, the new Land Cruiser 250 has lower WLTC mode fuel efficiency due to its larger body size and differences in vehicle weight.
The overseas model Land Cruiser 250 has a different engine lineup than the Japanese model. The biggest difference from the Japanese model is the powertrain’s “2.4L 4-cylinder hybrid ( i-Force Max )” that generates a maximum output of 326hp.

5. Purchasing method is difficult
It is likely that many people will be sold by lottery. In fact, orders will be accepted from the afternoon of April 18th, the day of release.
