Suzuki plans to release the new Jimny 5-door in Japan around January 2025. This model is a 5-door version of the Jimny Sierra with an extended wheelbase and two additional doors at the rear.

Overseas, Suzuki’s Indian subsidiary Maruti Suzuki India unveiled the model at the Auto Expo 2023, held from January 13 to 18, 2023. Then, on June 7, 2023, the Jimny 5-door went on sale, with prices ranging from 1,274,000 to 1,505,000 Indian rupees (approximately 2.18 million to 2.58 million yen).

Suzuki new Jimny 5-door expected price and grade

• The expected price is around 2.5 million to 3.5 million yen.
