What is Toyota New Global Architecture?

TNGA does not simply refer to the platform, but to the system and policies for car manufacturing that include all processes, such as planning, development, procurement, production preparation, and production, based on user feedback.

TNGA will achieve “making ever-better cars” by implementing the following four cycles:.

Improved basic performance
Grouping development for intelligent sharing of parts and units
Cooperate with suppliers to reduce costs
Product Appeal Improvement

The TNGA platform was gradually adopted by Toyota’s various models, starting with the new Prius, which went on sale on December 9, 2015. What is TNGA actually?

I often hear about the TNGA platform, but is it really that different? I often hear that, but the conclusion is completely different.
