Toyota North America announced some improvements to the new RAV4 as a 2024 model on September 22, 2023. This time, we will be adding a new special edition car, the “Woodland Edition.” It is expected to arrive at Toyota dealerships in the second half of 2023.

North America Toyota new model “RAV4” partially improved 2024 model

The 2024 North American model “RAV4” has no major changes to the base vehicle, and comes standard with Toyota’s active safety system suite “Toyota Safety Sense 2.5.” A new special edition model, the “Woodland Edition,” will be added to the lineup. “Woodland Edition” adds a standard activity mount to handle additional cargo. A new optional Weather Package (equipped with heated front seats and rain-sensing wipers) adds a new two-tone “Army Green” color combination for the “Woodland Edition,” “Adventure” and “TRD Off-Road” trim levels.

This special edition car is based on a hybrid model, and there is no NA (gasoline model) lineup. The new lineup includes a two-tone body color combination of “Army Green” or “Ice Cap” and a “Midnight Black Metallic” roof. The Woodland Edition features 18-inch six-spoke bronze TRD aluminum wheels wrapped in Falken Wildpeak A/T tires.

Standard front and rear mudguards, all-weather floor mats with the “Woodland” logo, and rear cargo mats are standard , and can handle the dirt that comes with dirt roads. Standard privacy glass on all rear side, quarter and liftgate windows. Standard LED projector beam headlights and integrated fog lights.

The Woodland Edition features a TRD-tuned suspension designed with enhanced body control and low bump separation for smoother ride over rough city streets. Coil springs are tuned for the trail, and bump stops maximize wheel travel in compression. The twin-tube shock features an internal rebound spring for optimal roll control and unique valving to help improve body control over big bumps.

Added “Weather Package Option”. The package also adds heated front seats, a heated leather-trimmed steering wheel, and rain-sensing variable intermittent windshield wipers with de-icing.

The special edition Adventure “OFFROAD package II” was released on October 4, 2022 for the Japanese model , and there may be a possibility that the “Woodland Edition” will also be introduced for the Japanese model.
