Toyota has made minor changes to the new GR Yaris and will release an improved and evolved model on March 21, 2024. Toyota (TGR) January 25, 2024, at the 2024 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) Round 1 Rally Monte Carlo, a special edition car based on the evolved GR Yaris “ GR Yaris RZ” High performance Sébastien Ogier Edition” and “ GR Yaris RZ “High performance・Kalle Rovanperä Edition”” were unveiled. Lottery applications will begin around spring 2024 through GR Garages nationwide, and sales are scheduled to be limited to 100 units each. Prior to the start of the lottery, both models are scheduled to be exhibited at the plaza in front of Nagoya Station JR Gate Tower from February 15th to 18th, 2024.

The stitching colors on the steering wheel have been changed to match the colors of the flags of each player’s country of origin (Ogier: France). A special plate commemorating winning the WRC championship is attached to the instrument panel in front of the passenger seat.

Toyota Evolutionary GR Yaris Special Edition “GR Yaris RZ “High performance・Kalle Rovanperä Edition””

Three-color paint is applied to the GR Yaris RZ “High performance Kalle Rovanperä Edition” . “WRC victory commemorative decals” commemorating winning the WRC championship are attached to the left and right of the front fender. The “three-color paint” is a design by the designer of the helmet that Rovanpera uses when participating in competitions. No cutting sheets were used, and the three colors were created using only paint. Same rear spoiler as the GRMN Yaris (variable wing/made from CFRP). Stitching colors on the steering wheel have been changed to match the colors of the flags of each player’s country of origin (Rovanpera: Finland). A special plate commemorating winning the WRC championship is attached to the instrument panel in front of the passenger seat.
