2nd generation Toyota Safety Sense

The second generation “Toyota Safety Sense” to be introduced in 2018 will retain the same “monocular camera + millimeter wave radar” configuration used in the current “Toyota Safety Sense P”, but will improve accident prevention through the following advancements. The aim is to further reduce traffic accident casualties and reduce the burden on drivers. Until now, there were no measures against “pedestrians” and “bicyclists” when driving at night, but this is now possible with the second generation of “Toyota Safety Sense . ”
