“GRMN” uses an unexpected sliding door

The presentation will be given by Simon Humphries, Toyota Motor Corporation Director/Executive Officer and Chief Branding Officer, General Manager of Design Area. Current Toyota Chairman Akio Toyoda said that he was surprised when he saw this car and said, “Wow!” At the presentation, the new Century was introduced along with the previous Century, and two cars were shown at the presentation. A new Century model was introduced, and the company said it would “respond to customer requests like a TaylorMade model,” and one model was equipped with a “GRMN” specification and a sliding door. It’s hard to say that Toyota is truly unique in adopting a sliding door in an SUV style.

In the video, the new model appears at 15:15.
